Travel to Japan from Mexico all inclusive

An all-inclusive trip to Japan from Mexico requires a whole preparation process before making this trip, it is not only preparing for the culture shock that you are going to witness, it is also having a very clear travel objective before you decide to leave.

The first thing we need to know is that Japan does not require a visa to visit as long as it is a pleasure trip, if you are a tourist or even if you are traveling on business for a conference or something like that as long as you are not going to carry out any remunerative or non-profit activity and the maximum time you can stay in the country without a visa is six months, in fact, and according to the Japanese embassy in Mexico, Mexicans can stay for an initial period of 90 days, If you want to extend your stay, you must go to the Ministry of Justice of Japan and it is a permit that can only be renewed once so that the time does not exceed 180 days, or 6 months.

In the event that your stay is for work or student reasons, the visa must be processed at the Japanese Embassy since obtaining it after your arrival is much more complicated.

Now, if it is only a tourist trip, this is what you will need (Information also available on the page of the Secretary of International Relations):

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months from your arrival and until your trip ends
  • You must be able to verify that you have sufficient funds for your stay in that country, if you plan to use a card, an account statement may be required.
  • You need a verification of when you arrive and another where the date of your departure is specified.
  • Evidence that you have accommodation, whether you have the hotel reservation on hand or a Letter of Invitation in the case of staying at a private address.
  • If you are not only going to tour and you are going to be a participant in an event, you must show the call for it or, in case you have it, a list of participants.
  • Another document that you have to be aware of is one called Disembarkation Card For Foreigner in which you must answer a series of questions.

Caveat. Remember that the Japanese authorities may reserve the right to enter even if you have a visa or permit, so make sure you have everything in order.
